A December Reflection: Our First Year at Largo Castaway Sauna
As we slide into December, mugs of something warm in hand, we’ve been looking back over what has been an incredible first year at Largo Castaway Sauna.
When we opened in February, we hoped to create a place for people to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. What’s grown instead is a whole community of heat-seekers, cold-water lovers, sunrise chasers, and curious first-timers who’ve turned this little corner of the coastline into something genuinely magic.
It’s hard to believe it’s only been a year.
What We’ve Built Since Opening in February
We always say the sauna has evolved as organically as the tide—slow, steady, and shaped by the people who show up.

Watch the fireworks sparkle across Largo Bay, sit together in the warmth, and bring in the bells with traditional Scottish treats. A slower, more special way to welcome the new year of 2026.
