Hello September! 🍂🔥
As we welcome the start of autumn, we just wanted to say a huge thank you for what has been a wonderful summer at Largo Castaway Sauna. ☀️🌊
We’ve been incredibly lucky with the weather, but even luckier with the people who have come through our doors – those discovering us for the very first time, familiar faces returning to Largo after visiting us on previous holidays, and of course our brilliant regulars who keep coming back. We really do love the little sauna community that continues to grow around us. ❤️
🔥 Fire & Flow
We finished August with another amazing Fire & Flow guided sauna session, which this time coincided beautifully with the Full Sturgeon Moon. 🌕
A special evening of heat, scent, whisking, breath, cold and a few sensory surprises along the way.

Stevie will be back in Sauna Master mode, with Antonia as his trusty sous chef, ready to take another group through the experience. If you haven’t tried one yet, perhaps September is your month!
🌅 Sunrise & Sunset Saunas are coming back…
One advantage of the days getting shorter is that we don’t have to get up quite so ridiculously early to catch the sunrise! 😂
So, as we head into autumn, we’re hoping to introduce monthly sunrise and sunset sauna sessions again. There’s something pretty special about watching the sky change over Largo Bay from the heat of the sauna, followed – for those who fancy it – by a dip in the sea.

🌍 Aufguss Around the World – with Nick
We’re really excited to welcome Nick, all the way from Brighton, to Largo Castaway Sauna for his Aufguss Around the World experience.
Nick will take us on a journey through different countries using Aufguss, scents and essential oils inspired by the places we visit along the way.
👉 Sunday 13th September | 10.15am | 1 hour
There are currently only FOUR spaces left, so don’t hang about if you fancy joining us!
🎶 Deborah is back!
The lovely Deborah Enrici from House of Holistics Scotland returns to the sauna this month.
👉 Friday 18th September | 6–8pm
Expect time to slow down, switch off and experience the sauna in a completely different way through somatic practice, sound and deep relaxation.
🍁 Autumn Castaway Retreat – Day Spaces Available
Our Autumn Castaway Retreat, Friday 30th October – Sunday 1st November, is now completely full for residential accommodation – which we’re delighted about! ❤️
However, we do still have a handful of spaces for anyone who would love to join us as a day guest.
Saturday will include a skincare workshop with Nana Cat Apothecary, lunch, time to relax, the option of an afternoon sauna at Largo Castaway Sauna and, later in the afternoon, a beautiful Somatic Sound Bathing session with Deborah Enrici from House of Holistics Scotland.
Or join us for Sunday morning, beginning with a morning sauna before Yoga & Meditation with Anna Carnegie from The Yogi Space, followed by lunch.

🌸 Spring Castaway Retreat 2027
And while one retreat is nearly here, we’re already looking ahead to the next!

👨 Monday Men’s Night & 👩 Wednesday Women’s Wellness
Our regular Men’s Night with Stevie and Women’s Wellness with Antonia will continue into autumn. However, rather than booking through the social session icon, we have an icon for the Men and an icon for Women – one each, all to themselves!!
As things naturally quieten down and we head towards winter, we may move these to fortnightly or monthly sessions – but we’ll keep everyone updated. If you want them weekly then that’s what we will continue to do 🌟
And remember, you absolutely don’t need to come with anyone. Book yourself a single space and come along – that’s exactly what these sessions are for.
